Job description

The Mechanical/aerospace Engineers will primarily be involved in nabla wind hub’s aero elastic model analysis and evaluation and will be directly reporting to the Head of Engineering.

The Mechanical/aerospace Engineers will be based in Vitoria-Gasteiz. (Hybrid)

Primary tasks:

The primary tasks will include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop methodology to run, analyze and evaluate aero elastic simulations for loads and performance calculations of wind turbines,
  • Investigate and develop new strategies for action and control heading to the design optimization and the energy cost reduction,
  • Postprocess data using Python routines analyzing the data coming from the wind turbines (SCADA records, sensorics etc.).


  • Previous knowledge in Bladed, Flex or FAST softwares will be valued.
  • Previous experience in control strategies will be valued.
  • Experience in Python will be valued.

Language skills:

  • English C1 Level or higher (third language as French or German will also be taken into account).
